Attention Seniors!!! Before you purchase ANY other cords via the mail or internet--please note that these cords CAN NOT be worn for graduation.
The only cords issued that are permitted to be worn for the Graduation Ceremony are those provided by Sol C. Johnson High School, Savannah Chatham County Public School System, and from your Military Branch of Service Recruiter.
The Cords Permitted to be worn for Graduation include:
1) Honor Graduates (See requirements under Guidance tab)
2) Completion of pathway in the CTAE Program with passing score on EOPA.
3) Completion of 4 year pathway for the Army JROTC
4) CTSO'S to include FBLA, FCCLA, DECA, Skills USA
5) School approved clubs to include (SLP, EXPLORER POST, WBL and JGG)
6) District Honor Band--4 Years
7) District Honor Fine Arts - 3 Years
8) National Honor Society (School Level Only)
9) Military Branch of Service with Official Contract
10) Senior with Current Deployed Military Parent-During Senior Year
SENIORS MUST SEE THEIR RESPECTED ADVISERS AND/OR TEACHERS FOR CORD RELATED INFORMATION.
